44th IHF World Hospital Congress Podcast Series

A new podcast series has been launched to highlight and feature several speakers of the upcoming 44th IHF World Hospital Congress happening on 8-11 November 2021 at Fira Montjuïc, Barcelona.
The 44th World Hospital Congress is a unique global forum that will bring together executive leaders of hospitals, health services, and healthcare organizations to discuss key drivers of national and international health policy, management, and solutions. In this series, listeners will have a glimpse of some of the sessions in the Congress. Speakers will share and exchange knowledge on various topics revolving around the health sector.
The first episode features Lord Nigel Crisp and Dr. Robyn Begley. Lord Crisp is the Former CEO of the NHS in England and Former Permanent Secretary of the United Kingdom Department of Health. Dr. Begley is the Chief Executive Officer at the American Organization for Nursing Leadership as well as the Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at the American Hospital Association.
They sat down and discussed the impact of global nursing initiatives—such as the Nursing Now Campaign and the Nightingale Challenge. Furthermore, they discussed the importance of nurses especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
