Precision Medicine – the impact for hospitals and health delivery , 9 November, 11:00 – 12:30
Precision medicine will be a disruptor of traditional healthcare delivery systems which are organized to treat the “average” patient through protocols, care plans, and pathways.
In this session, learn from hospital and healthcare leaders from the IHF Global Network, such as Dr. Gorge Guzman, CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, on how precision medicine will influence operations from care pathways to reimbursement models, to recruitment of the right staff, and many more aspects on how this new wave of care for patients will take shape.
Healthcare workforce challenges: pipeline, recruitment and retention, 10 November, 9:00 – 10:30
The healthcare workforce is the cornerstone of the health system in every country and are dependent on the availability, accessibility, and quality of healthcare workers to reach the highest standards of health provision.
This session, chaired by Wright L. Lassiter III, incoming CEO for CommonSpirit Health, will provide an overview of the current global healthcare workforce situation and clear examples of actions and initiatives implemented by healthcare leaders to respond to workforce challenges.
Net zero in healthcare: how is it possible? , 11 November, 9:00 – 10:00
Chaired by Sonia Roschnik, Executive Director of the IHF Geneva Sustainability Centre, this session will focus on healthcare leadership and sustainability: how to minimise environmental impact; how to build clinical transformation; and how to bring along key stakeholders and communities.
